Practical

For some readers, the best part of travel blogs are the crazy adventures, the amazing food, and the alcohol of choice.  Plus the really cool pictures.  But for fellow travelers, and ourselves, I’ve realized the most useful information is about the weeks and months leading up to the trip, i.e. buying insurance, leaving work, finances, etc, and the practicalities of of being on the road for an extended period of time.  Or the best modes of transportation between cities, best value food, places to avoid, etc.

[Update]

We’d love to contribute more to the community of world-wide travelers, but there is so much to write about here that I can’t imagine when either of us will get around to it.  Not in the near future anyway.  Instead, if you have any questions (about getting ready to go abroad, things to do before you go, or the places we’ve been) please email us at: twoandahalfbackpacks [at] gmail.com and we’ll do our best to help you out.
